What’s closed on Juneteenth in California and the Bay Area counties

The federal holiday Juneteenth is celebrated on June which this year is Thursday Here s the holiday plan for offices in the Bay Area Banks closed ATMs will be in operation Stock markets closed No operations at U S stock and bond markets including the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Federal agencies including the post office closed There will be no regular mail delivery Thursday although Priority Mail Express will be delivered Self-service kiosks in post offices will be operational Majority California state offices open State workers don t get a paid holiday off although they have the option to take Juneteenth off in lieu of a personal day The Department of Motor Vehicles has revealed it will observe normal weekday hours Largest part city and county offices in the Bay Area closed This includes courts and largest part population libraries Majority stores and other businesses open Caltrain and BART on normal weekday schedule
