Californians and thousands across the East Bay Simon noted It has never been about cheap resource or American potential dominance to this administration In Silicon Valley Rep Ro Khanna s th district has also experienced a important loss of federal grant funding with more than million in cancelled federal grants These includes million for carbon capture system and nearly million to accelerate the manufacturing of hardware considered key to creation of hydrogen power according to the Department of Capacity This funding was helping bring clean affordable power to families in Silicon Valley Khanna advised Bay Area News Group To compete with China in the st century we need to invest more in renewable force Canceling these funds hurts American families and innovation The hydrogen strength plant in Lodi would take treated water from an adjacent wastewater remedy plant and separate hydrogen and oxygen atoms uncovered in water The isolated hydrogen would then be packaged into fuel cells
